A Little More About Me

Vicky Kan

My yoga journey began in 2018, at a time when I was looking for balance and grounding in the middle of life’s changes. What started as a way to move my body and quiet my mind soon grew into something much deeper—a practice that helped me find strength, resilience, and calm off the mat as well.

Inspired by this transformation, I trained in Hong Kong in 2020, completing certifications in both Wheel Yoga and Vinyasa. Since then, yoga has become not just a personal passion, but a calling to share. Today, I’m proud to be the only certified Wheel Yoga teacher in Christchurch, offering students a chance to explore this unique practice alongside more traditional flows.

My teaching style is mindful and encouraging. I love creating a safe, supportive space where students can challenge themselves, open up their bodies, and reconnect with their energy. Whether it’s through deepening flexibility, building strength, or simply finding stillness in a busy world, my goal is to guide each student toward a sense of alignment—both inside and out.
